I know that a lot of you have come to my blog from CoffeeShop Free Actions, but for those of you who haven’t read Rita’s blog this week, you should check it out.

Her current post is a funny story about how she & I met for lunch last week.  True story!  In real life! 

What she didn’t mention is that, when we talked on the phone before our lunch date, the real purpose behind the phone call was to confirm that our voices matched our internet identities.  We were both relieve to hear female voices on the other end, rather than voices that sounded like murderers.  Not that I would recognize a murderous voice. . . .

Seriously, we had a ball.  The food was great and the company even better.  Our kids played together and let us exchange maybe 5 whole minutes of photography talk, which was about 4 more than I expected! 

Oh, and she took a much-needed picture of me for my blog!  Thank you Rita!

Rita is a lovely person and I completely enjoy working with her on our blogs.   We are so lucky to have her!  Her Photoshop actions are artistically beautiful and creative (and free!) and she is so generous with her time in creating them and teaching us to use them.

Ok, enough gushing, she is just plain smart too.  Why is it that Clipping Masks in Photoshop are so intimidating?  Reading through her Clipping Mask tutorial from this week, I was trying to remind myself what it was that had confused me about them in the past.  This is one for the bookmarks!
